Where do I find my SSID number?

The ATO require you to notify them of your payroll providers SSID number

Written by Anna Cochrane

PaySauce lodge Single Touch Payroll via SuperChoice, and you setup your SuperChoice access during onboarding.

Currently the SuperChoice STP Integration with the ATO is via "Sending Service Provider" (SSP) model. This uses SuperChoice's M2M credentials, and a Software Subscription ID (SSID) is not required nor applicable for that model.

The ATO is retiring the SSP model for integration and replacing this with the "Cloud software authentication and authorisation" and this model involves each Employer being provided with a unique SSID number.

The ATO has endorsed that Employers that use SuperChoice as their SSP have an extension until 30 June 2027, rather than 30 June 2026.

The SuperChoice SSID Rollout

In late 2026 / early 2027, SuperChoice will begin rolling out SSIDs. SuperChoice or PaySauce will contact you directly with your unique SSID and simple instructions for a one-time registration with the ATO.

In the meanwhile, what should I do if I receive an email from the ATO requesting you to "Provide your software ID (SSID) by 30 June 2026"?

Please reply to the ATO explaining that you use SuperChoice as your SSP and explain that SuperChoice has a deferral from the ATO until 30 June 2027.
