Custom Overtime and Penalty Rates
Have an employee with more unique overtime rules or are on an award we do not yet support? That is no longer an issue.
There are now additional features under the IFA settings to automate overtime and penalty rates. This include:
Trigger automatic overtime based on cumulative hours
Happens once the threshold in the "Overtime Threshold" setting (under Employment Details) has been reached
Trigger automatic overtime based on daily work limits
Once more than the set amount of hours have been worked in a day, classify the remaining hours as overtime
Use tiered overtime
This allows you to pay one overtime rate for the first few hours before switching to a higher rate for the remaining hours
Apply Penalty Rates between certain hours
You can have a different penalty rate for:
Monday to Friday
Saturday
Sunday
🛠️ How to Get Started
Update your employee's settings by:
Viewing the employee's profile.
Selecting the Award Details section.
Either selecting "No Award" or by ticking the "Flat Rate Employee (IFA)" field.
Filling out the details as required.
Clicking on Update.
